I just returned from seeing Star Trek.
It’s become one of my top favorite movies of all time now. Really. I’ve been a long-time Trekkie since birth. I own every single episode of The Original Series on VHS for goodness sake. My DVD collection is great too for the newer series. I’m quite critical, but following the hype of Star Trek for a long time now pretty much sold me on it though. Tonight, after much anticipation, I got to see the movie with my dad and a whole row of LifePointers.
I was connected from the outset. Big bag start and great pace throughout. The whole movie was amazing. It was great, I don’t have enough words for it at all. I don’t really like movies all that much, but I loved this movie and will see it again.
The only thing is: what was up with Uhura and Spock? I just don’t get their relationship. Someone explain that to me, thanks.
I’m going to go mellow out and sit and contemplate this movie high I’m on. I love the cinema, just for movies like Star Trek.
