Thank you Apple Dictionary. Anyway, I’ve kind of been in somewhat of a rut. I have writer’s block. I mean, I pay for this blog and care about putting myself out there, I just wish I made more of a difference had had more interaction. Like, what sort of stuff do you all want to hear about? Is there any specific direction I should take this blog in? Should I start writing songs and slash or poetry? I’d be down for anything.

Random thought: I think I’m going to begin writing a story, yeah. I’m quite the prolific writer you know. I have 3 books currently with over 3 copies in print. My first book was when I was very young and I called it “The Sock Book.” Sort of like See Spot Run meets a how-to video in book form. This book’s protaganist leads the reader on the adventure of discovering great verbs, which is a very noble task indeed. My second book was called “The True Story of the Three Little Pigs.” A great adventure story from Wolf’s perspective, this narrative highlights misconceptions of Wolf and the truth about the Little Pigs. It’s wonderful. My last book is called “Why Nigel Likes Chicken.” If I recall correctly (and that’s a stretch, I don’t remember this book from the 8th grade much… I need to find it and pull it out I guess), this story’s main character is named Nigel. He can use magic and has to use a magic sword to destroy the evil guy. I think. Anyway. That’s my lenghtiest book and the 2nd hardback. All three are self-published works written and illustrated by yours truly. If you want one, shoot me a line, maybe I’ll scan them and make PDFs.

And now for an awkwardly abrupt ending. Goodnight.

I know you wrote blogged this a long time ago, but I thought I’d comment anyway.
I think I know what you mean, it’s like there’s no point to what I’m doing and I’m pretty much burnt out. I read this verse earlier today, and it’s kind of a reminder that I don’t have to know what I’m doing or necessarily have the energy to do it, but God will take care of me and give me what I need. “You, O Lord keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.” Psalm 18:28
It’s completely up to you on where your direction is headed, but I think anything that requires you to open up and give a bit of yourself to everyone else will get the best response. I’d like to hear about stuff that I can relate to, in whatever way you want to write it: songs, poetry, stories, pictures even. And maybe, for direction, talking about your own struggles and successes, anything really. I don’t have a very specific idea, but you might find one. Don’t get too discouraged just because you’re not getting feedback, people are still reading. :)
